Requirements:-
  • 2 Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
  • Two recent Passport Size ( 35 mm x 45 mm) photographs.
  • Original and one photocopy of the Power of Attorney to be signed in person before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.

Affidavit for Obtaining Child's Passport in India
(Time Required: Same Day)


Requirements:-
  • Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if any).
  • 2 Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
  • The original and a photocopy of the Affidavit to be signed in person before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
  • Photocopy of child's birth certificate.

Academic Degree / Certificate Attestation
(Time Required: Same Day)


Requirements:-
  • Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if any)
  • Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
  • If original degree / certificate is to be attested.
  • Original and a photocopy of the Degree/Certificate duly attested by the General Administration Department of the concerned State, Ministry of HRD and the Consular Section, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi.
  • Original and a photocopy of the Mark Sheet.
  • If a translation of the degree certificate is required:
    • (Time Required : same day Day)
    • A translation of relevant degree certificate may be made from the concerned language in plain paper and the same shall be attested.

Marriage Certificate Attestation
(Time Required: Same Day)


Requirements:-
  • Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
  • The original and a photocopy of the Marriage Certificate duly attested by the concerned State Government / Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
  • If a translation of the marriage certificate is required:
    • (Time Required : same day Day)
    • A translation of relevant marriage certificate may be made from the concerned language in plain paper and the same shall be attested.

NRE Account Opening Form Attestation
(Time Required: Same Day)


Requirements:-
  • Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
  • Original and one photocopy of the Account Opening Form as prescribed by the concerned Bank/Institution to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.

Passport Photocopy Attestation

  • A letter requesting attestion of the passport photocopy.

Solemnizing Marriage
(Time Required: CALL)

Under the Foreign Marriage Act, 1969, the Embassy is authorized to solemnize a marriage when one or both the partners are Indian citizens and are residing abroad.

Requirements - When one partner is Indian and the other partner is a foreigner:-
  • An advertisement in the newspaper (both in English and the native language of the Indian partner) in India which is widely read in the hometown of boy/girl giving the name/address and other particulars of the boy/girl, announcing their intention to marry and that if anyone has any objection o the marriage, he/she may contact the O/o High Commission of India, Lagos
  • A letter from the Embassy of the country to which the foreign partner belongs stating that the Embassy does not have any objection to the marriage of its national.
  • An affidavit Form from a court in India on stamp paper issued by a notary and advocate stating that the parents of the Indian partner do not have any objection to the marriage. This affidavit is to be produced by the Indian partner only. Affidavit should be strictly on the lines of the specimen provided in.
  • Photocopies of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passports of both partners.
  • One passport size recent colour photograph each of both the partners.
  • Marriage Declaration Form to be submitted to the Consular Officer, duly signed by the partners. The Form is to be signed before the Consular Officer who would attest the same on payment of attestation fees.
  • Marriage fees of Naira is to be deposited at the time of submission of the Notice of Intended Marriage (Form), other documents listed at Sl. 1 to 5 above, at least three months prior to the proposed date of marriage.


Requirements - When both the partners are Indian citizens:-

Affidavit should be strictly on the lines of the specimen provided in Form.
